Perhaps one of the most attractive Echeveria species with dark brackish leaves. Two different phenotypes are represented here!

In my experience, Echeveria affinis has an affinity for death.

Or to be more specific, my personal experience has been that the first sign of thirst is rot.

One of my least favourite Echeveria, but I do think it’s very attractive! Mine is extra black. Very pretty.

Mine is still alive, but it still has a penchant for rotting if I let its soil dry out.

You should add the green one! I hope to be able to source it one day.

Is the one on the left, what I have seen being sold as Echeveria affinis short leaf form, a form with short leaves and in general stays quite small? I was under the assumption it was a hybrid before.

I keep buying it when I see one. They keep dying, very prone to rot, mildew. So I just enjoy them while they last.
