Walt Disney World has announced fresh details for the 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which is mostly a list of the 60+ new & returning topiaries, including the marquee main entrance display. Here’s the latest.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will run from March 4 to June 1, 2026 at Walt Disney World. The event shifts forward one day, but the duration of the festival is unchanged. Like each of the last two years, the 2026 event is a full month shorter than it was from 2021 through 2023, but consistent with historical precedent. Also like last year, it’s likely that the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival will start around Labor Day weekend, leaving a roughly 3-month window of Diet EPCOT after Flower & Garden ends.

A fully-fledged summer festival this year is unlikely, but it is possible that EPCOT will be the epicenter of the Disney Celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary event at Walt Disney World. It would make sense to run that from June through August, potentially with a few Distinctly Patriotic food “booths” located indoors around the park. Purely speculative on our part, though.

For everything else you need to know about the event, see our Ultimate Guide to the 2026 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival Guide. This post exclusively covers the tremendous topiaries and glorious gardens coming to the festival in 2026.

Of course, the highlight every year is the dozens and dozens of topiaries (over 60 in 2026!) that WDW Horticulture and Walt Disney Imagineering teams work together to design, build and grow. Starting over a year ago, this process began with artists developing sketches, Imagineers designing 3D models, skilled welders molding frames, and horticulture specialists choosing plant materials.

Here’s the latest announcement for the 2026 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, revolving around the park’s glorious gardens…

More than 60 topiaries inspired by classic Disney favorites will be blooming throughout EPCOT.

Buzz, Woody, Bo Peep and her Sheep, Lotso, and the Pixar Ball will greet you as soon as you enter the World Celebration Neighborhood. Other pals you haven’t seen in a while, including Stitch, Mike Wazowski and Sulley, as well as Lightning McQueen and Mater, sprout across the park.

Additionally, over 31 gardens and floral displays invite you to explore, relax, and enjoy the stunning horticulture Walt Disney World is known for. During the 2026 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, guests can enjoy several unique gardens, each offering its own blend of beauty, play, and discovery:

For 2026, you can also explore three new garden experiences: Pluto’s Pet‑Friendly Garden, the Wildlife Crossing Garden, and the Trendy Tropicals Garden, each bringing its own unique charm to the festival.

Walt Disney World also (sorta?) announced a Spike the Bee Garden coming to CommuniCore Hall. In one spot: “Experience Spike’s larger-than-life Garden as it transitions from day to night. From fireflies that glow in the dark, to flowers that open by moonlight, each element of the garden becomes more magical once the sun goes down.”

Another updated page on Disneyworld.com says more or less the same, but the direct reference to Spike the Bee is replaced with “Get a bee’s eye view of a garden that’s larger-than-life, as it transitions from day to night.” Guess we shall see! CommuniCore Hall was a dud last year, so we’re optimistic that this will bee an upgrade. (Get it? Will bee. That’s the sweet stuff you can only get here.)

Here’s the current list of topiaries that’ll be displayed during the 2026 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival:

Near Main Entrance

Buzz Lightyear
Woody
Bo Peep and her sheep
Lotso
Pixar Ball

The way Walt Disney World has worded this in the announcement is a bit odd (“greet you as soon as you enter the World Celebration Neighborhood”), which suggests they could be the main display behind Spaceship Earth.

However, the full list says near the main entrance, so it’s safe to assume this is the marquee display at the park entrance. Makes sense with Toy Story 5 being released on June 19, 2026. (We guessed Zootopia, Lilo & Stitch, Toy Story, or Hoppers. Kind of disappointed it’s not Zootopia or Hoppers, as those would be all-new topiaries, and Hoppers needs more promo than Toy Story 5.)

Based on my count, there should be another 20+ topiaries that have still yet to be announced. Most of these are likely the non-IP topiaries that traditionally appear around World Showcase. We’ll keep you posted once all of those are announced…if they’re announced.

Ultimately, the 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival should once again be a fun event. The first half of the festival (minus the spring break rush) is one of my favorite times of the year at EPCOT, and I look forward to spending a lot of time in the park in early to mid-March and then again in mid-April.
