Hi one of my BOPs is really struggling and I’m not sure why. One of my suspicions is root rot, the smaller roots are very hard but the large one feels like a carrot that’s a little bit past its prime, is this root rot? The heat in my house also went out for a few days about 3 weeks ago, could it be this? Other possible issues? I water approximately one every 1.5 weeks when the soil feels dry. It lives in a south facing window getting indirect sunlight plus light from a grow light. I also live in Southern Ontario so wintertime does not give it much light. Any help is really appreciated I really love this plant

Im not great with BOP but it looks under watered to me the way the leaves are curled in like that and maybe lacking nutrients, while you’ve got it out of the soil i would dunk it (yes the whole plant) in a bucket of water with some castile soap to make sure there’s no pests and then repot it in a chunky soil mix and water it a bit more frequently, but be careful with that though cause it’ll be a be bit still before we get good sun exposure through the day in Ontario so maybe adding a humidifier nearby might do the trick without changing how you water it. If it got below 10degrees in your house it might have some damage from the cold but i don’t think its dying from cold exposure
