Make unlimited rosemary! Here’s how to do it:
• Choose young shoots that aren’t flowering and are 6-8 inches long.
• Remove the bottom half of the leaves and root in water.
• Change the water every few days to keep the environment oxygenated and prevent rotting.
• After a few weeks, you should notice root hairs forming in the water.
• Pot up the rooted cuttings when several roots are an inch or more long.
It’s an exciting process and fun to grow new plants!

I will try growing this..
In my experience it was good leaving them outside in partial shade and not changing the water, even allow them to get the little bit of natural rain water. Then the next time you want to root something, possibly more rosemary, there will be a good amount of hormone in there that will help root whatever it is you want to grow.
One side note, it should not collect mosquito larvae, for those concerned, as it is a repellent of sorts. Mine never had any and stayed out all summer in a very highly mosquito populated area.

I never had success
By changing the water, you pour out the growth hormones from the plant that have gone into the water, which makes it take longer for the plant to take root.
The water needs to be changed when something bad happens to it, when it starts to deteriorate – the vessel cannot be slippery.
It also needs to be replaced when some part of the plant rots or dies and begins to decompose.
It is good to add some activated carbon, which protects the seedlings against this.
You can get charcoal from the pharmacy, but not in tablets! It must be in capsules without any additives. Just open the capsule and pour some into water. You can use the root stimulator with the charcoal, but it is not necessary.

I can propagate them in water successfully but when i transfer them in soil they die. I even got the soil specifically suited for rosemary but i still dont know why they dont thrive.

Jesus came down from heaven, lived a sinless life, died for us on the cross, and rose again 3 days later, defeating sin and death for all time. God loves you and wants a relationship with you and you have to believe in Him and love Him and repent (turn away from sin) and follow Him and you will be saved. “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved“ – Romans 10:9. God will change you and your heart and He will make your arrogant and evil heart of stone into a kind and loving heart that is obedient to His commandments which are perfect, as He has changed me. He will change you so that you can love Him and love others, as He changed me, even though we fall short of God’s glory by sinning. Surrender your life to Christ and believe today and be reconciled with your loving Creator and know the God who made everything and everyone who doesn’t delight in the death of the wicked: “Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord GOD, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live?” – Ezekiel 18:23. Also, “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9. God loves us so much that He wants all to come to repentance and is patient with us and doesn’t punish us for our sin if we allow Jesus to take our sin off of us because He died in our place because we deserved death for our sin so Jesus, having never sinned, died in our place. “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” – 2 Corinthians 5:21. But He will punish those who continually reject Him or who have rejected Him even until death. The time is soon, Jesus is coming back, and many aren’t saved. Don’t wait! Accept the gift of salvation which God gifts us and believe in Jesus because God has promised that if we believe in Jesus (Who is God), we will receive eternal salvation. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—” – Ephesians 2:8. Repent (turn away from sin and resist temptation to sin) and come to Christ who will take your sin away, give you a new heart to love God and love others, and He will save you from condemnation on judgement day when He judges everyone for what they have done. What an offer! “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 6:23. Praise God!
Do new leaves look fuzzy and white? I found a couple of white clumps in the top of the leaves in the middle and chat GTP told me its mealy bugs so I plucked them out and broke some with my nail. Its white on the outside and green on the inside. i feel maybe they were new leaves forming in the middle.. 😢😢 i feel bad for trusting AI
