Just before the brighter spring weather arrives, homeowners may be seeking quick solutions to spruce up their outdoor spaces and patios. This doesn’t have to break the bank however, thanks to a range of products available that can tackle the job efficiently – like this Patio Cleaner Concentrate.
This practical 5L bottle is now £19.99 on Amazon, and has clearly resonated with gardeners, as over 200 have been purchased over the past month. Shoppers are even claiming it ‘works wonders’ on their spaces and it tackles stubborn stains.
The Patio Cleaner Concentrate is straightforward to use – you dilute with water and simply spray onto the problem areas. Once diluted, it can make 30 litres and cover 125 m2 – Amazon says it can help eliminate green staining from exterior surfaces, whilst also preventing regrowth.
If you didn’t want to commit to the 5L bottle, you can also purchase a 2.5L version on Amazon for £9.99.

Amazon claims all you have to do is spray it on the target area and leave it to work, and says stains will disappear within five days – and no scrubbing or pressure washing is required. The remover is suitable for a range of hard surfaces including decking, fences, patios, paths, tarmac, roofs, walls, stone garden pots and ornaments, uPVC windows and greenhouses, reports the Express.
For those who’d rather let a machine do the heavy lifting, there’s the option to invest a bit more in the Karcher T5 Racer Patio Cleaner, available for £80 at Argos. Designed for light to medium-duty jobs, it features ‘twin jet rotating arms’ and tips the scales at just 1.39kg.
Alternatively, shoppers can pick up the Path, Patio and Deck Cleaner for £5.99 from The Range. This concentrated solution tackles mould, moss and algae head-on, whilst also preventing regrowth and eliminating spores.
Over on Amazon, the Patio Cleaner Concentrate has garnered an impressive 4.2 out of 5 stars. One satisfied customer shared: “We had green stains on our patio slabs that wouldn’t go after some scrubbing and a power wash so I opted for this product, and it worked wonders. I used a sprayer at the suggested concentration and it said to wait up to 5 days for it to take effect, but the green staining actually disappeared within one day.”
Another reviewer added: “Works really well. After green and black marks appeared on our white painted exterior walls I thought I was in for an expensive repaint. Within a few hours of spraying the stains disappeared completely, saving me a lot of money.”
