The tender leaves of Black Eyed Susan plants are irresistible to deer, rabbits and other animals so the plant needs protection! We have a gardening cloche from Gardeners Supply that is very effective ( and no we are not being sponsored by Gardeners Supply. We paid approximately $25 bucks for the protection and it was well worth the price. Happy Gardening 🧑🏽🌾
