Got my first Polly at Target last Thursday (3 days ago). Repotted it yesterday, used Fox Farm soil, orchid bark and perlite. Got the mix from this crazy lady on TikTok who I absolutely LOVE. DID NOT ADD WATER, instead I moistened the soil with a few sprays of water. The leaves were a little whacky when i first got it but they woke up lime this today 😭 anyone has any idea if I just killed it? Should I do cut these? I added as much background as possible so y’all can see the lighting she gets. The window is facing Southwest and I have another huge window that filters indirect light coming North

If the upper leaves are okay don’t panic as this sometimes happens when older leaves start to die off. That aside keep an eye on the upper leaves don’t water on an exact schedule but check on the plant and soil now and again. Also try to do a bit of research on your plant to help you going forward.

Best guess is that it was over watered before you got it. How wet was the soil before you decided to repot?

they can be very dramatic after a repot and having their roots messed with. I’ve had my perfectly healthy & established alocasia drop all the way down to 2 leaves after a repot. The next time she was fine, though. Dramatic.
