I bought this a few weeks ago from a plant store and it was in a very healthy condition then. it started getting droopy and sad looking when I was giving it less sunlight.

Then I was leaving out in the sun more it keeps being droopy and looking sad. I leave for work and open the shade to let it have some sunlight which is like 5-6 hours of sunlight. I water it once a week and the store I bought it from advised once every 1 to 2 weeks depending on sunlight.

For the potting mix I leave it in the one I originally got from the store which they told me to do. I'm not sure what the soil type is.

Is there anything I can do for it? What's the diagnosis

When did you get it? Does it get very cold where you’re keeping it?

What is your method when you water it?

    Two possibilities:

    1. Peace lilies look like this when they’re super thirsty. Have you tried watering it? (Like, heavily. Sprinking a smidge is not watering)
    2. This sub is drowning in posts by people who bought a plant “a few weeks ago” during the big US-wide cold snap, unknowingly allowing their plant to freeze in the time it takes to get it home. Yes, if it’s cold enough you can kill most of the leaves on your uncovered unprotected plant with a walk to the car. It can take time for the damage to really show.

Edit: your photo doesn’t really do a good job of showing what the leaves look like, but from what I can tell, it just looks really thirsty, not cold damaged.

Not enough water, maybe too much sun, maybe too cold ? What’s your weather like there ? They are a tropical plant that loves humidity and warm sun but not direct sun. Looks very thirsty to me …

WATER!! She’s sooo thirsty. The soil looks bone dry and is pulling away from the edge of the pot. Take the brown pot out of the blue pot and put the brown pot with the plant in it into a big bowl of room temperature water for 10-15 minutes and let it soak up as much water as it can. Hopefully it’ll recover after that. If it does recover it needs a good soaking like that every 7-10 days.

How much are you watering it when you do water? It needs a soak, it’s incredibly dried out. I’d take the orange pot out of the blue one, set the whole thing in a large bowl of water, and let it absorb the water for a few hours.

Mine is my most dramatic plant. Water should fix it right up!

Does it even have soil in the pot?
