First three pics are Kentucky gooseberries last two are jolly orchid. They were growing perfectly up until about a month ago. I have spent endless minutes first thing in the AM and at night and during the day with a jewelers loupe and a magnifying scope trying to locate pests. Give it to me straight doctor reddit 😩

I have no pest expertise, but that bloom color is not even remotely like any AV bloom I’ve ever seen!

    I’m suspicious too. Good luck!

It’s somewhat suspicious, but I’m not convinced it’s pests yet (it could be.) I’m more curious about what kind of fertilizer you use and how you measure and administer? This is possibly caused by water wicking into the crown. Tannins (from soil) and fertilizer salts can wick into the crown and cause discoloration and damage. I see possible salt crystals on the last picture. IF it’s salt buildup, you will be able to clean it off. If it’s tannins, it will remain stained. Are you wick watering or bottom watering?
