I picked this off the ground in the parking lot of a local park. I wasn't sure if it would live. Now I'm wondering if this is a death bloom or not. Any advice?
While all tillys will eventually die after blooming, when and how is very varied.
Forming clumps often keeps the parent plant alive for far longer, if not seemingly indefinitely (seemingly, eventually it’ll go), whilst plucking pups at various stages of growth will return different reactions.
First, enjoy the bloom.
Second, decide if you want a clump or multiple plants.
Third, if multiple is your choice, as a first plant I’d advise making sure a couple of pups get to a decent size (common advice is 1/3rd of parent plant) so you have one or two that can be your next beaut and the rest can be your learning discovery fun.
Where and how you go from there is up to you, but I wish you much success!

Thanks for the information. I don’t see any pups.
