2025 taught me a lot—about patience, weather, soil, mistakes, and what really matters in the garden. In this video, I’m sharing the biggest lessons and projects of 2025, and exciting news for a new garden season.

If you’re planning your next garden year, dreaming of a slower, more intentional garden rhythm, or learning through trial and error like I am, this video is for you.

  1. You should see your face when you talk about a new garden, vegetables, flowers, roses on new land. You Light up!!!! I can not wait to see what happens in the future for you and your family. You truly want to live the country life very much. Love the ducks too!! you must get them 😉 Dont look back too like you said, ive been gardening since I could remember, I had a small yard, myself I built stone walls, planted trees , flowers, fruits, you name it I grew it. after my parents sold that house, the new owners ripped it all down , nothing was left, was sooo sad but I had to think of the new gardens I would have, and when I finally bought my own house and land, I was most happiest, the old house 1695 farm house, then the chickens came next and the gardens grew and grew. One tip plant a vegetable garden like I did first, fence it in from deer and plant climbing roses all over the fence. its such a beautiful place in my garden. So excited to see what will be in your future. God Bless to you and your Family 🙂 I must say too I wish there were more people like you in the world, you are so genuine and enjoy life to the fullest.

  2. Like Cricketttjd said, This is going to be exciting- we're LOL I mean you're going to get a new garden and a house. Keep something in mind Olga about fountains. Both of my fountains are in the direct sun. Sun and water creates algae. I correct the ph in the water as you would a swimming pool with chlorine. I wish I could do this some other way but nothing else seems to be able to handle the task. I believe if you incorporate a lot of copper in the fountain it may discourage algae. We have at least a foot of snow still on the ground now. We did have about 18 inches of snow. And it is cold cold cold here as well. Glad to see you are doing well and excited about spring/summer just around the corner.

  3. Part of getting the right new owners is how your agent lists your home. If they list it specifically to appeal to gardeners and plant lovers, you have a much better chance of getting the right people to buy it. When I listed my previous house, the agent entitled the listing "nature lovers attention!!" because we had beautiful woodland behind our house that was our entire back garden. Lovely people bought it and it's a comfort. Since then I haven't been so lucky, so the other important thing is to not look back, and don't drive by and look at what they're doing unless you know for sure that it's good (like send a friend to check, and only give permission to you to go look if it's OK). I know whatever you do will be beautiful!

  4. Also, how did you make your hypertuffa pots so beautiful? How did you enscribe the thyme one? I always thought you had to use peat to make hypertuffa and since we are not supposed to use peat I never pursued it, but after looking at your video here I looked it up again and I see you can use coconut coir instead of peat, so I'm eager to try this summer!

  5. Oh my God, Olga! I'm soooooo excited for you!

I am subscribed to you from my other account, but wanted to connect with you from this one. 😊

I remember years ago you were talking about possible move to a bigger property but because of your kids and other commitments you couldn't do it then and I'm so excited you're planning the move now!

Why I remember that? Because back then we were planning a move and a purchase of a bigger property as well! We did it! We actually started from scratch and documenting the progress (this is my Ukrainian speaking channel 😊).

I just want to support you! It'll be difficult to leave your beautiful garden, but you will create so much more on your new one! You arexsuper talented and very inspiring to many! It will be amazing, I totally believe in it!
I left behind my beautiful garden on a city lot for a raw land, and there is a long road ahead for me, but I hope I can create something beautiful again. And i want runner ducks too! Great for slug control! 😂

Also, people who bought my previous home with gorgeous garden kept all the plants and trees! Even sour cherry tree and sea buckthorn (обліпіха)! So, maybe whoever buys your current garden will keep all your plants! Let's hope they will appreciate nature and beauty as much as you do!

Sorry for such a long comment! Can't help my excitement! 😊

  6. This is super exciting Olga! It is hard to let go of something so beautiful but imagine what is instore for you and your loved ones when you take that leap of faith. And I firmly believe growing your own food is crucial in our time and age. I can't wait to see what you create! Blessings🍅
