    Wait there’s still some *Hylocereus* tissue there. But I think actually in that case it’s a good thing. If you removed it all the *Copiapoa* wouldn’t have had enough xylem and phloem to push out roots. Anyway, I’m happy for you and your plant. I want to do the same with *Lophophora* micrografts that I’ll graft onto *Pereskia*.
