These spots always appear on every leaf after I’ve wiped them down with a damp cloth. Where do they come from and could they be harmful?
Is it possible that it’s just mineral residue from the tap water?
(Perhaps) important addition: I live in Sweden and our tap water is one of the in the cleanest in the world. I and everyone else water their plants with it and drink it. Bottled water isn’t really a thing here. So with that said, the water quality being harmful for my plants isn’t a possibility

The leaf is just wet, all good. They may leave stains after they dry but not harmful.
Seems like water marks. It’s not harmful. That’s from calcium, magnesium and other dissolved minerals. Water evaporates and leave minerals behind. Is that a humidifier you are using there? I’ll recommend to filter the water to avoid the mineral residue or just wipe it off every now and then with a microfiber cloth.
Hej förlåt, I just read your full comment. I live in Sweden too, and our water is very clean for drinking but full of minerals. I always filter the water to be used for cleaning leaves. I have a cheap 1.5lt Brita filter. Ha det fint!
