First attempt at staking one of my plants… Be gentle.

But also, I'm ok with constructive criticism. I've read conflicting information that this is not a climber but also that it could do well with a stake. The leaves were overlapping each other and I thought that it could benefit from this style so that the leaves could kind of spread out more? Correct me if I'm wrong. I tried to tie is at the thickest part without tying the stems themselves because I know that's a no-no. I'd just like some reassurance for my first go 🤞

Side note: chat gpt told me to figure 8 the tie, so it isn't too tight right up against the wood. So that's that. This is also not her usual home, she was in my bathroom by a window. I moved her only to do this and haven't moved her back just yet.
