In this episode of the Garden Girls Podcast, we’re sitting down for one of our favorite kinds of conversations — a good old What’s Growing On catch-up.
We talk about what’s happening in the garden right now, what’s thriving, what’s struggling, and what we’re excited to plant and grow next. We also chat about life lately, what’s been keeping us busy, and the things we’re looking forward to as the season continues.
These episodes are meant to feel like you’re hanging out with us in the garden — no pressure, no how-to’s, just honest conversation, garden rambling, and real life updates.
If you’re gardening along with us or just want something cozy to listen to while you water, weed, or unwind, we’re really glad you’re here 🌿

Hi ladies. Thanks for opening up about mental health. Therapy and SSRIs helped me so much. Gardening has been the natural therapeutic equivalent and supplement to my well-being (thanks to inspiration from gardening content creators like you). Congrats on the baby Dagny and being on the other side of suck, Meg. Gardening-wise I started hot peppers and bell pepper plants indoors zone 7b and got Meg's calendar 🙂
14:39 welcome to the hyper focus part of adhd 🙃🙃🙃 it feels so good to hyper focus that you literally cannot be pulled away from whatever it is you’re doing lol
Also, it makes me feel so happy to hear about how good you both have been feeling since starting the SSRI’s. I remember that feeling when I first started mine. I genuinely smiled hearing you both talk about how you feel great 🥰
No brassicas for me either. So over the issues they bring. Maybe I’ll grow them again someday but I’m not so sure…
Sweet intro animation for the channel, I dig it! Sending good vibes to both of you ladies. Thank you for sharing your experiences with mental health. You are not alone! 💜✨️
I need zone 4!!!!!
I am so excited to get my seeds going in a couple of weeks.
Yesterday was very unseasonably warm here and it was nice to be able to work on getting the garden beds ready!
