Hi All, this is Bare ground only and we are looking to keep it that way until we plan to put in fake grass in a year or so.
I was wondering if I could just put Diuron down at this stage since its only grasses and they are not bigger then like 5 inches? We normally use Diuron to keep the weeds down on bare soil (since its a semi sterilant) but I have also heard it can kill grasses at this stage.
Would anyone recommend just using Diuron or do I need to mix Glyphosate as well? Also, if we don’t put in fake grass within a year, I am considering using Oust here instead of Diuron and am looking for any advice on that. Thanks!!
*Fam member has license to spray/buy Diuron but for this purpose we are using as homeowners :)*

You are probably going to get tons of “why fake grass” questions. Another consideration, why wait a year, only because you are going to kill what’s there and leave yourself a big mud bowl, unless you get ZERO rain! Why not something easy to kill and grow like a ryegrass until you are ready?
