This guy has been growing happily for a few years and is about 4' tall. It was already leaning towards the window slightly for light, but then my dog almost knocked the pot over (I caught it before it tipped all the way) and since then it seems to have lost it's ability to self-support and it's just resting against the window.
I'm planning to repot it – is there anything I should specifically do to help it stand up better? Is it even reasonable to expect this plant to support itself without a stake of some kind? If I add a stake, how/where should it be placed and do I need to tie the plant to it?
