This plant is here and don’t know if it’s invasive or not

At first I thought it was camphor laurel but google tells me it’s a Brazilian pepper tree

    I think Google might be right.

    I also think it’s one and the same plant as the tree. The new growth may be suckering from the root system.

    Edit: Yes, invasive to SEQ & the rest of Australia

    Brazilian Peppertree – Schinus terebinthifolius

    In the poison ivy family Anacardiaceae. It produces the same class of irritating oils as poison ivy. It’s invasive in the state of Florida in the US but unsure about its status in Australia
