EPCOT at Walt Disney World rotates through five unique festivals each year. As springtime draws near, so does the next festival on deck: the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.

Like all EPCOT festivals, this event includes free concerts. As part of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, the park hosts the Garden Rocks Concert Series, and we now know which performing artists will be part of 2026’s lineup, including quite a few high-profile celebrity bands. At Mickey Visit, we cover the latest Disney news, like the reopening date for Frozen Ever After with new Audio-Animatronics and Disney’s plans for an expansion of a transportation offering.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival takes place March 4 – June 1, 2026. During this time, the entire park is in bloom with gorgeous flower displays, fun educational opportunities, and creatively designed topiaries in the shape of Disney characters.

Many of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival activities are free to enjoy, and all of them take place during EPCOT’s regular operating hours. This is not a separately ticketed event.

These festivities include the annual Garden Rocks Concert Series. Performing at the outdoor American Gardens Amphitheater in World Showcase are musicians from such varying genres as pop-punk, R&B, classic rock & roll, Christian, and alternative rock.

Guests who want peace of mind for a guaranteed seat can purchase a Garden Rocks Dining Package, which pairs reserved seating with dinner at an EPCOT restaurant. However, we don’t think this option is as essential to getting a seat as it is during some of EPCOT’s other seasonal events, namely the Candlelight Processional during the holidays.

All this being said, the Garden Rocks Concert Series barely scratches the surface of the full extent of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.

Fun Things to Do During the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

Figment topiary

The Garden Rocks Concert Series is just one component of a full selection of offerings that only happen during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.

One of our favorites is a $10 scavenger hunt that encourages guests to participate with many of the event’s special exhibits throughout the park, and you earn a prize at the end. Scavenger hunt maps are available at Creations Shop in World Celebration.

Orange Bird mouse ear flowers

Additionally, fans of the Orange Bird, a somewhat obscure Walt Disney World character from the 1970s, will find tons of exclusive Orange Bird merchandise during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. He’s the mascot for the event. The park is also lined with booths selling plant-inspired food and beverages, all of the menus exclusive to the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.

Even if guests don’t plan on purchasing anything extra, just walking through the park and looking at all the flowers and topiaries on display is enjoyable. EPCOT’s horticulture teams go all-out. The butterfly sanctuary near The Land Pavilion is also not to be missed.
