So I just received this in the mail. $14.00 I started to soak it, as instructed in the instructions. But then it started bothering me about how brown and crispy the base was. So I wrote up a request for a replacement in my order. Opinions on if I am correct, that it is not healthy????

You’re right to ask for a replacement. That plant is rotted and has a fungal infection 🙁
