I recently added pumice to support the stems and sprayed them with 3% H2O2. They don't look very good after two days. What could be causing this? by Abject-Bed-628 cacticactuscactuses 2 Comments Substantial_Scene444 2 hours ago The hydrogen peroxide damage the leaves. It’s okay, the new growth will be fine. Why did you spray them? Manganmh89 2 hours ago Don’t look like any cactus seeds I’ve seen.. but opuntia might be the only one I haven’t germinated. I use peroxide before germ, it can be aggressive for young tissue. It bleaches my skin if contacted and sits for a few minutes. I keep everything on heat for the first several months. Makes a big difference IMo
