I put it in my house for 4-5 months and a month ago it's vines and leaves started to fall off and dried. And last week I just pressed the surface without any significant pressure then the shell was completely sunk below the surface level. Seemed like it's hollow inside.

Is it normal for hiatus stage or what should I do? Anyone knows what happened at this stage and is it still alive?

I’m sorry but the plant is most likely dead.
If there are some white parts, you could try to salvage it be cutting all the rotten parts away.

I believe it rotted, are there more pictures?
It could be from too much moisture.

It has rotted. If it’s been that long then it might be too late but with luck it could have survived. Scratch the furthest point away from the hole and see if there’s green, living tissue, if there is you might be in with a chance.

If you see living tissue then go back go back to the rot and, with a very sharp blade, cut the rot off until there’s only healthy flesh, dust it with sulphur powder or some other biocide, let it air dry and cross your fingers.
