Our apple tree has mushrooms growing out of one branch. Should I cut this branch off? Is the whole tree likely affected or anything else to worry about. Thanks in advance

Mushrooms are a sign of rotting wood. While there may still be life sprouting from this branch, the mushrooms are a sign that the wood is decaying and getting weaker, and will most likely snap off with the weight of fruit (unless the branch is totally dead and doesn’t leaf out at all). Prune it out at its point of origin.
