I had a mandarin orange tree. Kept it in the kitchen for years. It outgrew my house and I was forced to put it outside. I tried but it didn’t survive. I miss its deliciously fragrant blooms, they were so powerful you could have gotten drunk by just smelling them on a sunny day in early Spring. I’ve often hoped that that’s what Heaven smells like….a pool of sweet orange blossoms!!
Too much fertilizer can burn the tree.

I use old coffee grinds as a ferltilizer
Organic fertiliser is what he means – chicken manure based. Synthetic will kill it.
