I got this from a friend who wasn't using distilled water, or a humidifier. It was also by his front door, so it felt the cold every time the door got opened. I'm hoping that's the biggest problem, and that this isn't a fungal infection going on? I would appreciate opinions and advice.

    I had one of these, it was beautiful, but it died, but I’m not sure what did it. They do love humidity do look into getting a humifier. Check for pests too, unfortunately they attract insects. It looks the same leaves that I had too. I’m thinking lack of humidity, and tap water…

    No but for real they are just incredibly sensitive plants. Anytime they get nicked or bumped, it creates a yellow/brown spot . A lot of that looks like humidity issues and non distilled watering as you guessed they are also sensitive to cold and reeeeallly hate being moved.
