For gardeners troubleshooting common issues, Anna Bergmark is slated to speak on “Problems and Solutions for the Beginner (and not so beginner) Gardener”, and Katie Kammler will lead “What’s Wrong with My Plant?” along with a separate session on “Season Extension”, according to the program list.
Fruit and propagation topics are covered through “Container Fruits” by Traven Crocker, “Propagation” by Donna Aufdenberg and “Propagating Native Seeds Indoors” by Lisa Schultz. The seminar also addresses habitat and wildlife interactions, with “Bird Boxes” by Steve Smith and “Decoding Deer” by Justine Kanda included among the scheduled sessions.
In addition to classroom-style programs, the event will feature vendors, marketplace and prize drawings. Vendors listed for the seminar include Friendly Valley Studio, Gihring Family Farms, Patchwork Acres Soaps, Yoder’s Carol’s Herbs, Art By Marti, Kress Farm, The Mushroom Spot, Juneberry and Ned’s Nests.
