COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The Columbus Botanical Garden will host “Camellias & Cocktails in the Garden” tonight from 5 to 7 p.m., ahead of Saturday’s Camellia Fest.

Despite cold weather, the garden’s camellias remain in bloom. The evening event includes camellia-inspired drinks, charcuterie boards and tours of the garden. Fire pits will keep attendees warm.

“Grab your coats, grab your friends. It’s a rare time to actually come after hours to see the camellias,” said Lauren Money, director of marketing for the Columbus Botanical Garden. “Just walk throughout the garden and see all of the pops of color you know things still in bloom when a lot of the garden is still asleep.”

Tickets purchased at the garden cost $15. The nonprofit will have a variety of camellias available for purchase during the event.
