Hi all,
I brought home a glorious pilea peperomioides (Chinese Money Plant) about three weeks ago. I watered it when I brought it home. Unfortunately, it's taken a bad turn almost immediately. Anyone able to advise on how to fix it? We thought we may have over watered it so we left it to dry out but it continues to deteriorate. It's
beside a glass door so should have plenty of light.
We would love to turn the tide and bring it back to full health!

Looks dry was 3 weeks ago the only time you watered it?
Yeah she just looks hecka dry. If the pot has a drainage hole, I would take her over to a sink or bath and let the water fill to the brim of the pot, then settle through the soil. You will need to do this a few times until you feel the pot getting heavier. If no drainage, I guess fill it with water, let it sit a bit, then dump the extra water out like you’re straining ramen noodles. If it’s a plastic pot, you can squeeze it gently to loosen the soil and allow the water to absorb more evenly. Let her drain real good after it feels soaked through. While she’s all droopy, take that opportunity to look through and remove dead leaves that easily pop off and remove any fallen leaves from the top of the soil to reduce chances of fungal infection. I’ve got one of these and she gets real sassy when she’s thirsty, but it’s overall a pretty hardy indoor plant. You got this!
Interesting. Thanks guys. We don’t currently have drain holes in the pot. We actually thought it might be suffering from over-watering (that one time). Will give watering it a go and hope for the best!
