LIVE music will once again fill the Geelong Botanic Gardens this summer when Music at the Geelong Botanic Gardens returns with three relaxed outdoor concerts celebrating jazz, swing and big-band favourites.
Running across February, the much-loved series invites locals and visitors to enjoy twilight performances in one of Geelong’s most picturesque settings.
Audiences are encouraged to bring a picnic, relax under the trees and enjoy incredible performances in a family-friendly atmosphere.
The 2026 program will feature three concerts.

The Pearly Shells open the series on February 14 with a high-energy performance drawing on jump blues, swing jazz, rhythm and blues and Latin influences.
Known for their lively stage presence and dance-floor-friendly sound, the seven-piece are sure to deliver an entertaining afternoon.
Surf Coast Big Band: Sinatra & Best of Big Band follows on February 22 with a celebration of the golden era of big-band music.
Featuring the timeless songs of Frank Sinatra, along with music made famous by Glenn Miller, Count Basie and Ella Fitzgerald, the show pays tribute to the great orchestras and vocalists that defined the swing era.
The series concludes February 28 with Bob Sedergreen & Friends, led by Melbourne jazz legend Bob Sedergreen.

Joined by special guest musicians, the performance showcases blues-infused jazz, soulful improvisation and decades of musical experience from one of Australia’s most respected jazz pianists.
Event organiser Callum Watson said the Music at the Geelong Botanic Gardens series continued to grow as a summer highlight for the region.
“Music at the Geelong Botanic Gardens is about bringing people together to enjoy great live music in a beautiful public space,” he said.
“Each concert offers something different, but they all share a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.”
Concerts take place at the Geelong Botanic Gardens and run from 4pm to 6pm.
