I was recently gifted this fiddle leaf fig. I’ve had one in the past, but my black thumb got to it real quick. I’ve vowed to treat this one better.

I’m coming to this group for some advice; please be kind.

This is actually 3 plants, will they be over crowded in the 12” nursery pot they’re in (hidden inside the decorative pot)?

I’ve tied them together with tree rope, are theee any issues with the one on the right being tied at an angle, and omit straight up?

Should I peel back any of the leaves? Things seem really crowded, but I can’t beget myself to rip off any of the healthy leaves.

I’ve owned this for a couple weeks now, and I rotate it every week or so. That’s an eastern facing window.

Bleh, looks like I’ve got a few typos, but can’t edit. Hopefully the post is still understandable.

I would leave it as is just add a grow light. And don’t forget to fertilize. Potted plants don’t get nutrients as they are not in the earth. Once a month fall amd winter. Once a week spring and summer. I also wouldn’t tie them up. They are trees and shouldn’t need to be tied
