There were like 6 of them at Mclendon and I was going to get one that had longer strings and bigger leaves.
But when I was gonna start convincing my husband to let me get another plant for my growing collection, he grabbed this one.
I didn't want him to change his mind so I didn't switch it out.
She's beautiful though and I'm so glad I finally found one!✨️
I'm in Seattle Washington and this was a Mclendon in White Center. Just incase you're in the area and have been wanting one too.
I'm gonna let her acclimate to my place and then I'll repot her.
Any tips please and thank you!
I will be in YouTube today looking at care videos but I'll take all the advice💖

String of hearts are awesome little plants! Mine started out that size and now she’s over five feet long and gets regular hair cuts to keep her that length lol
They are pretty easy to care for and thrive on a little bit of neglect. Find a spot with good, indirect sun because they do burn, and water when the soil is dry. You are more likely to kill the plant over watering it rather than under watering it.
Most importantly, leave it be. Don’t move it, handle it as little as possible and be very very gentle with the vines, they break so easily. The vines will tangle, just let them.
Mine is hanging in middle of south facing window that get directs sun for much of the day minus mid-afternoon where the window frame provides some shade/blocks the sun (in zone 9b). I actually haven’t repotted her yet but since October, her vines have grown like 2ft and she’s flowering. I top water when top 1in soil is dry. Overall, I’ve found her easy to care for and fast grower. Such a sweet little plant. Enjoy!
