We just moved into a new house in Sussex and our small lawn does suffer from some waterlogging. Only made worse by our dog walking on it!

I know it’s due to the unusually rainy season and the clay soils and I was wondering if Liquid Gypsum may help with the issue or be a waste of time?

If so, how often are you supposed to use it? Or is it a one off?

Moving forward, I was thinking of having a more varied lawn from spring. What are good seeds to add to existing grass (I heard micro clover) but I was also thinking some low wildflowers. The right hand side of the lawn is quite shady.

Thank you!

I would be interested to know myself. Have similar clay soil and water logging in Kent. My gut based on the way the pop up adds try and sell me it is that it’s a con/not really suitable for what we are dealing with.
