Hello! Got these violets several months ago, read about the watering habits, how they like to be slightly rootbound. First three pictures are of the purple flowering one, the rest are of the other one. I do have sand on top of soil to discourage gnats from laying eggs in soil, so if you see weird coloring of the soil that may be why. I water then around twice a week I've noticed if I go a week or more the leaves start drooping. Yeah I need to remove the spent flowers on the pink one, will be doing that this week. The item info I took a picture of says it's a 4in pot. The roots are basically the same in both. Also, I want to check I keep them under growlights for around 16 on 8 off. Should I do less, I've noticed the outer leaves changing color and wonder if I need to change lighting setup. Thanks for the input 🙂
