My prayer plant was accidentally knocked over by a friend on 12/26/25. It fell completely upside down and immediately had broken and limp stems. I let it be for about 2 weeks and it looked like the first slide. I’ve then started slowly weeding out the dead stems and trimming them all the way down. It’s in my bathroom with bright indirect light plus a humidifier at the moment for extra love, but it still has rolling leaves. Thankfully, it has already sprouted 3 new leaves that have not unfurled yet, so I’m hopeful that it will recover. Should I just cut my losses and just chop the whole plant down to start over??

Are you asking whether you should get rid of healthy foliage?

No, your plant needs those leaves too photosynthesize. Even dying foliage is useful to the plant because it will reabsorb moisture and photosynthasates in order to create new growth.

These guys love a ton of humidity. A humidifier is great, have you got a humidity meter?
