Started 2 years ago and never looked back. The only time I use plastic is when transplanting tomatoes and bell peppers to larger pots. It’s the absolute best.

I have them, but I was not successful. What mix are you using?

I have been, but I had a whole season of seedlings wiped out by mice and honestly I didn’t have the emotional energy to do any last year.
If I start any this year, though, I’ll be going back to soil blocking. It’s great

I just use the biodegradable ones.

I’m trying it out for the first time this year with a cheap Amazon 2 inch blocker. I try to wash out and reuse a lot of my plastic pots and really don’t love them so hoping the soil blocks work out well!

I’m unsure about soil blocking after a year of doing it. IME, the blocks tend to fall apart even with bottom watering. moreover, I tend to up pot before transplant, so it almost feels like it defeats the purpose. maybe if I “up-blocked” into larger soil blocks, but that seems like added expense I’m not sold on yet. I’m honestly kind of doubting the touted benefits of air pruning…
