Just a small cutting from a family property ! 😆😂 Wondering what to use to hydro this… maybe an enormous vase? I have hydro propagated other monsteras before with great success but this one is SO large, I’m not sure I’ll find a glass vessel big enough to support it. Has anyone had success propagating in a vessel that wasn’t clear? I’ve always gone with glass to let light in to the roots… is that a myth or a thing?! Thanks and happy gardening x

It’ll be fine is a plastic container. But what’s the root situation looking like? Are there any aeriel roots?

I’ve heard people say to let the bottom callouse before you water propogate it. I’ve had some thick top cuttings grow successfully but on the verge of rotting at the base because I didn’t let it calloused and dry out over night apparently

I have had great success with spag moss and plastic bags/cling wrap. Just make sure you really wring out all of the excess water before putting the moss around the vine.
