My pothos developed dark and soft/mushy spots along multiple vines since yesterday. These spots appear in a matter of hours. I have cut the damaged vines off. What is wrong and can I save the plant?
It is winter here, not too much light. I do not think I overwatered. Roots look fine.

Cut the vine back to healthy, firm green tissue (above the mushy part).
Make sure there’s a drainage hole in the pot or move the plant to one which has it
Let the soil dry out more between waterings
If multiple vines are mushy consider repotting with fresh, well draining mix.
If it happened really quickly like u said it could be bacterial or a fungus effecting the roots .
Drainage is key.
