Will this ever turn into a full plant?

I took this leaf off of a plant a few months ago before I knew much about propagation. It took a while but finally grew roots in water, then it was moved to a pot. I repotted a couple of weeks ago into better draining soil (soil, orchid bark, perlite) and was very surprised to see a decent root system. I really don’t remember if it had nodes, but I don’t think so (again, newbie at the time). I haven’t seen new growth so just wondering on if it will be a single leaf forever or if there is hope of becoming a full plant.
