Does anyone know what type of bamboo this is? I have five plants that I think are all the same species. Is it flowering? Is it going to die afterwards?
Wondering if I need to replace all my bamboo. 😢

Don’t know species but I have read once bamboo goes to seed it dies.
It’s flowering
It’s telling you that it needs repotting. The flowering and seed pods are a tell take sign that it’s in its final leg.
My black bamboo in a pot flowered and all the large canes died back now it’s recovered
