Wild Plant Help

Hello!

I inherited this monstera when it was left behind by some roommates. They had really only just been watering it and making sure it had sunlight access. As a result it grew unruly and I have been trying with moss poles or these new bamboo ladders to try and tame it a little better. The vines? stems? (not sure the right term is) bend in all sorts of directions.

I’ve had it about a year and have experienced about 8/9 new leaves including the few sprouting now. I’m pretty new to plants in general but have learned the new sprouts need to be facing upwards and towards the sun to grow. I have slowly been training it to stand more upright through this time.

I’m hoping I could either answer more about the plant or get some advice on the next steps to make sure this beautiful plant continues to thrive and how I can best control its growth so it looks more “presentable”

Thank you! I look forward to diving deeper into this community!

Please give it a moss pole or support. Looks healthy and if it has a support won’t lean too much.
