Edit: Maybe another species, but more information is needed. The plant has gripping tendrils which point to a few different plant families.

Almost looks like a globeberry (in the cucurbit family)? Compare with Ibervillea macdougalii and other ibervilleas. If this is correct, that’s an at risk species.
Next time, please include location in the text of the post, so people don’t have to Google the coordinates of Houston, TX. Also reduces risk of self-doxxing.

A location could also be helpful for people trying to make an ID.
Location please, OP!
Looks like gall on a maybe a grape leaf. Exact species unable to be determined with just a photo, but here is some info.

Cretan bryony? [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryonia_dioica](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryonia_dioica)
this plant may be a cucurbit of some sort. (i tried PictureThis, but that identifies it incorrectly.) i hope you can get it identified.
Definitely Snozzberries.
My guess is *Cucumis maderaspatanus*.
Looks like red currant to me
