I loved this video!!!! Steve is obviously talented and resourceful. But the other things you recommended were equally inspiring. Just tackling some trimming and weed/ brush removal is a calming thing. I have 2 sections of beautiful flowerbeds, bird baths and feeders but the dang little yard out back that is unseen is awful! Overgrown spiraeas, creeping vines and the very dreaded mulberry!!!
I need a man like Steve in my life!
I LOVE the doggy cam! Do more of that. He’s so cute sitting on your lap too. This yard tour was great. Lots of work! The stone/bricks, the circles, the birdbath…all wonderful! Thx!
Without spending any money. Then says plant a lawn for little cost 😂
Or ask a friend or neighbor if you can dig up their beautiful lawn that they spent time and money on to plant in your yard 🤦♂️
i come just to watch the doggy cam lol
You may have good information and ideas. But I can't watch videos where the speaker looks off somewhere and not at the viewer. It's just disturbing to me.
Hi, I love the doggy cam! I love the fountain, but in my country old tractors disc are quite expensive as the are usually reporpouse as pans for outdoor cooking. They are in high demand…but I love the idea.
No to the vining vinca! It is hell on earth the way it spreads!!!
You can also go to Starbucks and they'll give you already used coffee grounds for your garden for free bags of them.
What can I put on the area where I removed a tree … it looks ugly now and I can’t plant anything because the trump is still there underneath the ground. The roots are there too.
Wonderful video! Thank you!
I have a beautiful “lawn” of healthy, mowed, green weeds 😁
Years ago, I started my lawn in South Australia from free cuttings & mowed it with a hand mower which was good exercise. In today's world people are eager to spend their money rather than saving it & have nothing to show for it.
Doggy cam is definitely a nice touch, and a good reminder of the world from their perspective! 🐶💕 I accelerate use of kitchen scraps by tossing them in a quality blender (food processor will work) with some water to loosen it up, and blending them up. Use enough water as is useful to blend well.
Then further dilute it well in a bucket, and pour it onto the garden or shrubbery, moving around to a new spot daily or weekly, however often you blend them up, or stay old school and add to the bin and roll it around like compost in some dirt and leaves if desired.
But why wait for months to do what the blender does in seconds?
And if they are high-quality scraps, carrots, celery, beans, peas, peppers, onions, herbs, etc., the things about to go off, but before they do–limp carrots and celery destined for the trash or compost can usually be fully restored by merely covering them completely with water, (peel/prep),:putting on the lid and putting them in the fridge overnight/for a day, accelerate that with ice water, and they'll be like new–otherwise the better scraps can be frozen in dated zippy bags to cook down to make soup stock later. Adds nutrition whether or not it's a strong flavor.
Reuse, then recycle. 😊
Steve’s garden is absolutely gorgeous!
I absolutely ❤ your channel! So casual that it even looks easy to do 😊 ❤
My pup, looks to be the younger brother of your pup. I love how your pup is a quiet observer and even does a little canera work himself. 😊
Planting a lawn costs money so does a watering system.
Love his garden – worth every penny and drop of sweat IMHO!
Wow, did I ever need to run into your YouTube!❤❤❤❤❤❤
In my area nobody throws anything out. Absolutely nobody. People keep their crap and sell it twice a year during townwide garage sales
Love the dog's view👍
My yard is all weeds, zero grass. There’s no soil, just rock.
Chip is adorable. What breed is he?
This is simply a gorgeous space. Love it. Love ur ideas more progation.
First, let me say that dog has the most adorable face. So cute. Second, thanks for the idea of the barrel compost. I've never seen one of these and now I want one. Great video.
I love your doggie and I subscribed.
Thank you Sir.We salvaged cobblestone and made a wishing well😊 please visit your friend in Spring?🌱
Buying grass seeds and "planting" materials indeed costs. Landscaping plants aren't free. Try again.
You're promoting stealing. Go over to your neighbors and relatives and take grass plugs from their yard and while you're at it coax them into dividing up their plants with you.
Dog loves his/her dad……….
This was amazing. You noted that Steve spent a bit of money, but I tell you what he didn’t spend much. And I’m only at 63-year-old lady who has her 1st yard for the first time in her life. I’ve been three stories up in a concrete jungle for decades. Finally bought a house in the country. Now I can’t do quite what Steve can do because of his obvious natural handyman capacity. But I’ve got an artistic guy, and I’m finding that men I’m willing to help me with a bit of putting things together here and there. This IS manageable, particularly when you mentioned, or when Steve mentioned that, can you someone’s upstairs banister for their balcony or their house. Now I could go to ref used reclamation stores online or local places, and find old banisters of steel that aren’t being used or offcuts, or are bespoke things that we never picked up. There’s a tip folks…… Bespoke things that people order from ironmongers, and Fencemakers etc and never pick up or pay for, are often available cheap. (That goes for sheds and granny flats too). I absolutely loved this. I will be subscribing because you have promised that my garden will start growing correctly when I do. You and the dog
Just found this and subscribed! Great ideas! ❤❤❤❤The doggy cam is precious 💖 💗 💕
I live in NWFlorida which has about a foot of sand- not dirt. Nothing I have planted is thriving from 2 yrs ago- not monkey grass, not holly, not azalaes, and I added ammendments went I dug the holes. I think, It'll all be dead in a year. Some one said I need lime, maybe. I have ants everywhere. There are not many rocks in Florida to find. I have not found much useful stuff online or at thrft stores that is real cheap or free. Except large plastic bins a farmer sells for 8 bucks each- empty mineral containers for cattle. I have 10 of those, now I need some decent soil to fill them- which is not cheap at all. I hope to grow herbs and some flowers. We shall see.
Lovely video
