The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
NEW ORLEANS — Entergy has restored power after an outage hit more than 8,000 residents in the Lower Garden District early Sunday morning.
The power outage came as temperatures hung in the 30s. According to Entergy’s outage map, as of 9:00 a.m., 8,193 Entergy customers were without power.
Entergy outage map estimates the power to be restored at about 11:00 a.m., but it was quickly restored at about 10:00 a.m.
The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
