Located a short drive from Carlisle, the garden centre has become a favourite with locals.
We tried the afternoon tea for two, which cost £18.99, and after sharing the review online, readers shared their thoughts on the family-run centre.

She said: “The food is delicious, and the staff are friendly and accommodating, the best, even our dog loves going especially for her sausage. Definitely worth a visit.”
Helen Churchill agreed, calling it ‘one of the loveliest cafés’ and a perfect stop for a pit stop or a ride out.

Sheila Mary said: “We love this little garden centre. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. Fabulous food always fresh and tasty.”

Laura J Thomson praised the quality of the food and the atmosphere, saying: “Great place to visit and fantastic food. I always bring my clients here when I’m out working in the community.”
Pat Kirkup described it as ‘one of the best cafés for lunch, tea or a snack,’ adding: “Food is always served quickly by lovely staff. Delicious food at excellent prices.”
Ursula Noble also highlighted the service and dog-friendly touches.
She said: “Great place and great food. Staff are always attentive and happy. Love going and the dog house is brilliant and the sausages for a treat…..well done everyone!”
