  1. This dude is full of it. DO NOT EVER PLANT BAMBOO. My neighbors “clumping bamboo” is ruining my property and no law or regulation is in place to control it. It bangs my gutters, the debris clogs my gutters, and it sends shoots under the fence. “Clumping bamboo” is absolute horse crap.

  2. Tell your editor to kill the floating captions. Stopped watching after 30 seconds. I watch videos to see and hear not read captions. Bye bye!

  3. Have done bamboo removal . Used a backhoe to get five feet down to the bottom roots. Never burn it. It will grow back even faster.Bamboo should be outlawed like multi floral rose and autumn olive.

  4. I am living with nightmare everyday since my new neighbors moved in. I was here for a year without neighbors on the other side of the fence. It was never an issue until I saw someone just standing there looking into my yard. I was just gonna put a privacy screen on poles and call it a day but your post gave me a better idea. What fast growing tree works best for me.

  5. what he doesn't mention is even though arborvitae are amazing they are highly prone to browning and bagworms and you have to constantly monitor them for the problems or else you won't have a tree left in a matter of months

  6. Arborvitae are not for the NY area, or northeast. The 3 trunk growth in heavy snow or ice will split in to. Better to go with a single trunk tree as a green giant.

  7. Is this video for children…I mean with the words and the highlights (the bouncing ball) but what kills it even more is the silly cartoonish voice. 😅
Sorry I couldn't make it past 2 minutes.

  8. I had 2 arborvitae thriving in desert heat. Stupid yardworkers took them out and my electric bill doubled!

  9. I will never understand why people want to prune & shape trees
let them GROW as they should. They look MUCH BETTER when they are full.

  10. I really wish people would stop promoting Leyland Cypress. Very much overdone plant that often has serious problems after a few years.

  11. PG&E prune the privacy trees, the trees die. Need to block the neighbors on the hill watching on me, the root trees cannot spand due to septic system leeches. what tree would you consider best?
