21:21 Aaron …I think the silver ounce is now at 86. Dropping back from 118. Now is the time to get it. Trust me when I say buy it. Get it before it goes crazy. You’ll thank me. 😅
The chocolate paper bag thing! I saw that on a cooking channel when I was little and have always wanted to do it! I'm 50 now so I guess I better get to it😅
Isn't Gnatrol essentially the same as Mosquito Bits, just BT? I've added Mosquito Bits to my soil at your inspiration and it seems to be working also. It is bigger pieces than your granules lookl like. So I have to be careful about seed placement.
But don't you still have a space that the old kitchen? I think I remember you had a bunch of vases in one or 2 of the cupboards? Couldn't you ha e stored extra food items, small appliances and the dreaded extra paper towels in there?
Sometimes a high consumption of ice is related to picca and is indicative of low iron, you mention that your water is high ph and disrupts iron, worth looking into
My heart dropped when you said you were going to lower the floor in the original side of your house, and then I realized you probably just mean the floor of the pantry which will then be accessed directly from the kitchen and not the whole landing, right?! The landing is beautiful
I’m the same way about ice! I always have to have ice in my glass! I live alone, so my sons bought me a pellet ice machine from Amazon. I love it! It’s small, but I know they have larger ones. I throw mine in the freezer ice bin unfortunately I have to use a knife to break them up 😉
My ice maker is currently on strike also. It does this every 3 months or so…I'm a little concerned this time though…it's been over a week. I think it might be done for good this time. Good thing I have ice cube trays for back-up.
Oh no! I see a "Dream Remodel" coming soon… Laura is now excited… I'm sure that puts a huge smile on Aaron's face…. can wait to go along with you in this process….. you guys are great… don't know what I ever watched before Garden Answer… Love you guys!
Oooooo – I absolutely love alstroemeria. I planted 8 different varieties in my small garden last year. I was unaware that some varieties stay low and mounded and others get quite tall. I underplanted a Vine Maple and was pleasantly surprised as the alstroemeria grew about 3’ tall and was supported by the branches of the tree. It was so much fun to see clusters of blooms peeking out amongst the leaves of the tree.
All 8 plants bloomed all season long – it was incredible. Never had to deadhead. I’m planting more this year, for sure!
Best of luck with your renovations. We’re in the thick of a whole house renovation. The house really needed it but there was a minute when the entire house was gutted that I questioned myself 😂. But getting vaulted ceilings, extra windows and doors, a new kitchen with an oven that works, two bathrooms instead of a tiny Jack and Jill and a laundry room will be awesome. It took us several years to get to this point – keep the faith when things get tough. I hope your contractor is as wonderful as ours is. ❤
I live in Long Island NY zone 7. Our winter has been a very unusual climate BUT the opposite of yours. A lot of snow and freezing cold. As low as 9° overnight and a couple of 12° days. I just prepared my winter seed sowing and put them outside. The seeds are all perennials from Johnnys seed. QUESTION: Do you think they are safe? Can’t wait for Spring!
Hi! Sounds like GA needs to make an exclusive leaf shine spray! I would snap it up. Ken…?!! ❤ Thanks for allll the amazing advice and videos. You guys are the best, and I watch your videos every day. You have helped me make my garden so much more enjoyable and pretty, and I am so appreciative to everyone on your team. My garden now brings me joy.
I have a commercial counter top nugget ice maker. This is my second one, first one lasted 9-10 years and both have been used/refurbished ones. Last one I purchased on eBay, shipped on a pallet to me. We love ice too and can't think about not having one ( and I drink more water because of it). These are generally taken out of labs/hospitals because the ice holds test tubes upright, so they have many years left to work for you. Make space for it in your new pantry.
Before I even look up the price on Amazon, I'm sure it's going to be tons cheaper because I'm a prime member and I'm sure y'all have to charge shipping. That's going to keep people ordering from Amazon unless money isn't an object and they'd like to support your business! Sad, but true. Unless I'm wrong, is there free shipping on certain size orders?
Have you considered the Tempest weather station? I'm so excited to put mine up. Santa finally brought me one! It tracks everything in your weather history and has an amazing app as well as connects to other Tempest stations all around to give you the most accurate weather forecast. I believe it's ranked number one in weather gear. It's also solar rechargeable.
When I was a manager at a flower shop I loved that leaf shine spray! If I’m not mistaken they took it off the market because it suffocates the plant. It can’t properly photosynthesis. I could be wrong because it was so long ago, but I’m pretty sure that what a vender told me.
We did so much reconfiguring like that when we did our house renovation. There was so much "dead" space that we made use of and/or opened up> Our storage space and the flow of the house is so much better now.

Actually pimp in slang is: vigorously promoting something for selling and/or advertising purposes.

Aaron there are worse things than an addiction to ice. 😂😂😂

My husband and I had a good laugh at the end with Aaron's rock stats! That was awesome! 😂😂

I use shredded broccoli in place of noodles in soup. When my boys were younger they believed it was noodles!

I have found that if my house plants are heathy they don't get dusty leaves.
Susan, you are absolutely correct! Life is too short to take oneself seriously! That't the spirit.

I work in a flower shop in Canada and we still have the aerosol leaf shine . It’s awesome and yes just melts the dust on plants 🌱
Your local Extension office is a great source for detaild soil reports.

With your lack of snow this season cause a problem for your plants ? We have so much snow we will be too wet when it thaws.
I had an awesome childhood, but you !!! WOW. What fantastic memories you have and are now passing on to your kids.

If adding on, how about adding on a garage for the trucks?

Just a quick FYI…I looked up the Gnatrol and they offered a very small bottle. It was not inexpensive, but the small bottle was shipped through USPS.
I have used a little oil on a paper towel to wipe leaves.
😂 that "plant pimp" name is going to stick. Sorry 😂
I made the soup! Love it! I will try it with Italian sausage next time! Thanks for all the inspiration every day!❤

I remember Plant Shine!! Loved it!!
How many grandchildren do your parents have? Does Monica have any children?
I LOVED Leaf Shine! Worked in an office and talked the plant maintenance lady into bringing me one occasionally to stash away lol
Thank you Susan for leaving the clip in! It’s a compliment! You all keep it real.
We can call Aaron the ‘rock whisperer’.
Get well soon Monica!
Aaron your passion about ice made me laugh Do you know my husband? He is also an ice man 😂
