  1. I just found you and am so excited to subscribe. Two comments in particular – your use of images while you're speaking AND your pacing. Ten usable tips in under ten minutes, with examples from different styles! Wow!

  2. I love this and have many of the details you spoke about! Beautiful pictures thank you. ❤️

  3. Hey there Ashley! Your design concepts are very cohesive. I already have three here at my townhouse: bricks laid shoulder to shoulder style outlining a rose border. The bricks match my front façade. I have a Colonial tan (yellow clay) planter on the landing and I have two decorative metal window boxes on my back deck to add floral color w/o taking up space. I’ve just painted them antique copper to match my light fixtures. Colonial lantern style. Snagged them on sale online at the very beginning of the Covid lockdown.
My townhome has Federal style trim.

  4. Very nice ideas ~ will try a few 🙂 Also, if building or installing window boxes is too difficult, you can simply set some rectangle raised planters (on legs) under the windows. You get the same look & with little worry about water & soil decaying or staining the window woodwork & the side of your house.

  5. I just finished adding flowers to my various pots after getting inspiration from your "patio transformation" video. Now you've given me more homework to do. Thanks again for the great ideas-I have been taking notes!☺

  6. What great tips! Thank you for sharing your ideas. Im a new subscriber and playing "catch up" by watching your past videos . So many ideas that I cant wait to try.

  7. What is your feeling on painting nasty brick to update the exterior of my home? I can’t think of any other solution to change the curb appeal of my older brick bungalow. Thanks in advance for any feedback ❤

  8. Hi! I have a question! Our home has a symmetrical boxwood hedge on either side of our front door. (We have a sun room type porch) the hedges are taller and cover probably 1/3-1/2 of the sunroom windows. Is this always a negative thing or can it contribute to the home feeling tucked away and cozy? Our home is two story so it doesn’t really cut off height wise. Would love feedback!
