Flower pot fungus issues

I have recently had issues with my peat where it has been growing flower pot fungus like crazy. Unfortunately I only recognized after I had finished all of my repotting and seed sowing along with gemmae. I wanted to know if there is any way I can sterilize my soil for the future and what the best corse of action for the seeds and gemmae I have planted are. If anyone knows if the fungus is bad for carnivorous plants that would be helpful too!
