So I took her out of her pot with soil and removed some of the soil and put her in this cup. My understanding was that they don't need soil? Or if it was in water do I need to keep it in soil? How do I go about removing all the soil from the roots? Or should I pot her up again? Help thank you!

Also, can she be in this cup or should the roots be exposed and put hanging somewhere open?
