

This plant started growing in a pot where something else had died. I just kept watering it, and it just kept growing—a fast grower—and now here we are. It might be some kind of weed, but as long as it doesn't give me allergies or rashes, I don't see why I would hurt it. These photos are in east Texas, if that helps localize a species.

I’m much more familiar with west TX weeds, but going on what looks like flowers, it could be either in the amaranth or acanthus family.
Pellitory, Parietaria pensylvanica or similar species.
